Local Information Management Company ExpandingCarolinaRecords and Information Management to Offer Expanded Data Vault Services to the Southeast
Cayce, S.C.¦ (Jan 31)– Carolina Records and Information Management, a record storage, paper shredding, digital imaging and data vault company in Cayce / Columbia, announced the addition of a 1400 sq ft state of the art Data Vault.
With advanced climate control, fire suppression, humidity control, redundant security and power, the Data Vault provides companies a secure location to store critical disaster recovery information. Clients of Carolina Records store backup tapes and other media, and the new Data Vault is designed to house backup servers and other devices required by disaster recovery plans.
“We are very excited about our state-of-the-art media vault as we prepare our leap into the media and online management world. With the launch of our new media vault, corporations and small businesses looking to outsource media storage, rotation, and online server backups will have the ability to work with a local, family owned business in Columbia SC. Our security measures implemented in the construction of the media vault surpassed our expectations and we are looking forward to the new and growing business our media vault will bring to Carolina Records & Information Management,” said Vice President of Operations, Woody Lewter.
Companies implementing a complete disaster recovery program are required to store backup devices and media at least 100 miles away from their primary location. This requirement makes the Carolina Records Data Vault an ideal solution for companies across the Southeast.
Carolina Records is the largest locally-owned record storage company in the Midlands. They are also working on an expansion of their record storage facility that will provide an additional 20,000 sq ft for hard copy record storage. Their paper shredding service provides the highest security available in the industry.
